YMCA of Central Ohio COO argued a partnership saves $15 million in capital plus $4 million from the Y (and $40 million over 20 years if the Y runs operations), cited 1,000 daily vehicles, and presented 546 resident signatures supporting a partnership.

Resident defended the YMCA's 162-year record, called the local facility effectively brand new, and suggested adding zip lines like Westerville's if both facilities are built.
